CAROLINE DOUGLAS
I received a BFA in ceramics at the University of North Carolina and have worked with clay for over 40 years. Currently, inspiration for my figurative sculpture comes from my dreams and observing the magic of animals as well as humans nature. I spent many years working with clay to heal from a severe head injury and now share that experience with others. Publications include Ceramics: Art and Perception, Lark Books, The Shambhala Sun, and Better Homes and Gardens. My work is in the National Museum for Women in the Arts and many private collections. WILLI EGGERMAN
I have a practical nature. I enjoy making useful objects in clay. Nevertheless, I want my cups, bowls, and vases to blur the line between art and craft. My forms are often also my canvas. On them I draw and paint with line, texture, and with glaze. Each piece I make is unique, a subtle mark in time in the family of my work. I strive for each piece to be visually engaging and delightfully tactile. I’m often told that using my work brings great joy. Please visit willieggerman.com. |
THERESA HABERKORN
My formal art training began in high school at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida, and graduated from the University of South Florida in printmaking. I am inspired by my natural surroundings to carve and print award winning woodcut prints. My work has shown in national and international exhibits and galleries, and can be found in numerous private and corporate collections. I am also a popular instructor, sharing my knowledge of woodcut printmaking. Please visit theresahaberkorn.com. |
EVA MAIER
Because of the colors' vibrancy I mainly work with oil paints. I like to paint abstractions of objects or animals that are somehow connected to my life. My most recent paintings are a new approach for me, taking my inspiration from collages I made. I am currently working on a few more “collage-paintings” and also have been working on some small wall sculptures/creatures. Please connect on Facebook at Eva Maier Art or visit evamaierart.com. |
